To Begin I was definitely blown away by the production of this immersive dinning experience at Park Row London with their immersive dinning experience in The Monarch Theatre!
The sound score was well placed and not too over powering, the service felt like well oiled Swiss clockwork using 2 doors in and out.
Pre Show
At first, it was the flip of a coin that dangled the prospect of whether I would embrace my bright or shadowy inclinations. But momentary thrill ultimately failed to yield any substantive follow through during the rest of the dinner but was fun Nonetheless . I marked myself as a creature of the night and sipped on a glass of blackberry-infused rum and trickling martini, each imbued with a burst of popping candy joy concealed at the glass's base.
We were then indulged in a creative spin on a classic cinema snack as a pre treat - popcorn with a touch of magic. Propelled by wisps of dry ice, this treat bestowed a refreshing dragons breath effect, perfect for ultimate Instagram Reels. Though subtly flavoured, the popcorn flavoured a distinct aroma of cornmeal that captivated cinema and movies in a new but subtle taste.
All course were introduced in the form of characters so thats how I will start here.....

Riddler Course
On Top a regal statue, the first culinary character to take the stage was none other than The Riddler! We were immediately swept up by his cunning riddles and a quirky puzzle that would unveil the ingredients for a forthcoming dish ahead. And what a dish it was! The Riddler, himself, appeared as a coveted and succulent Ox lollipop dressed in hibiscus. However, what really got my taste buds singing was the sharpness of the horseradish cream and fresh grated horseradish on top. Next to the lollipop nestled a small yet exquisite cornet of cabinero prawn, boasting a sweet, lightly salty and delicate taste akin to the freshness of the ocean. To add a fiery touch to this harmonious flavour palate was a mini scoop of wasabi ice cream that opened our sense for the next course.

Penguin Course
For me at the forefront of my taste buds memory was The Penguin, a dish that stood out with tantalising anticipation for the flavours that awaited me. The sweet allure of white chocolate intertwined with the succulent tender scallops, oysters, and ossetra caviar. As I savoured the subtle sweet creaminess of the scallops, the salty seasoning and pop of ocean freshness from the caviar added an extra burst of flavour. The Penguin, known for his lavish lifestyle, was perfectly adorned with plentiful edible gold leaf. The dish won my heart and stomach, an absolutely divine combination of the Ocean and white chocolate one that i didn’t think would work, but has been imprinted on my memory. ScareCrow Course The culinary adventure was not over. The Scarecrow made a grand entrance, with spooky and theatrical effects that set the ambiance just right. As the scarecrow is known for its affinity towards mushrooms and their toxicity, we were served a delectable mushroom and port pate in the shape of a strikingly red fungi. The presentation was impeccable - plated beautifully atop a bed of mossy glass dome. I took my first bite, a crispy sourdough accompaniment added a delightful crunch to the texture of the dish. Though the port taste may have been a tad bit subtle, the mushrooms filled my senses with delicate woody forest aroma. Harley Quinn Course Then to the enigmatic presence of Harley Quinn, personified by a diminutive martini glass filled with a tangy, tomato consome and mini pepper-laced elixir. The sensation was nothing short of arresting; alternating between sweet and sour and tangy, it left me unsure as to if it was pleasant or unpleasant. tangy and sour i think thats the idea in terms of flavour play! Joker Course Disoriented as we approach the end of the first half like a theatre show with interval, the Joker himself. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he presented us with a vivid syringe, brimming with a mysterious coloured concoction. As we waited, anticipation mounting, the Joker produced a plate of exquisitely cooked Black Cod, tender Lobster tortellini, and purple cauliflower puree. Despite our initial confusion on how to plate our own dish, we eagerly dove in, spurred on by the Joker's playful challenge to decorate our own plates using the syringe. The plate has a smile design to it so I gave mine a hair style with the saucy syringe. The cauliflower puree proved to be the fulcrum of the dish, imbuing each element with its earthy flavours and silky texture. The Joker had indeed succeeded in infusing the meal with his trademark whimsy, a fact not lost on us as we reveled in the playful spirit of the syringe. Super well balance dish that gave us sustenance at this stage in the meal. Interval time and a small break from the animated room and a chance to look around the rest of Park Rows splendour.

Poison Ivy course
We returned to the dining room to find ourselves engulfed in the enchanting ambiance of a mystical, woodland scene. An exquisite forest table was sprawled out before us, adorned with lush foliage concealing secret treasures within its depths. Like a temptress, Poison Ivy seduced us with her expertly crafted gel spherification of passion fruit – exploding with tropical richness in our hungry mouths, soothing our palates with every wash and replenishing morsel of flavour. Not to be outdone, the delightful combination of smoky BBQ pineapples and velvety coconut ice-cream awaited discovery, nestled within the depths of a freshly cracked coconut. As we savoured every last delectable bite, we sipped on a divine Rum cocktail, bringing a mesmerising fusion of sweetness and rum-induced bliss to our already tantalised senses.

Mr Freeze Course As we journeyed further into our what felt like a culinary expedition, a chilling sensation permeated the air as the arrival of Mr. Freeze jolted us all. The room began to ice over, as a block of frozen crystals was presented before us. Our taste buds salivated with anticipation as what could be described as KFC frog legs, sweetbreads, and smoked eel were revealed to us. we poured the fluorescent yuzu/basil dressing over the tantalising display, with basil infusing each bite with subtle hints of botanical pond freshness. The ice plant, with its delicate beauty, crisp on our tongues gave added pony effect to this dish. For me it perfectly captured the essence of Mr. Freeze with every frosty bite, sending shivers down my spines as I nibble on a frog leg bone. This course is forever embedded in my mind as it was perfection at its best! Bruce Wayne Course A hero among dishes, Bruce Wayne, graced us with his presence - a true main course that had us all squealing with delight Finally that hunk of meat the dinner needed. Thick and juicy saddle of lamb, cooked to absolute perfection - tender pink flesh enticing our tastebuds with every soft bite. Each mouthful was perfectly seasoned, with an alluringly salty flavour that was somehow untraceable in the dish but powerful. Wild garlic puree complimented the lamb effortlessly - a creamy, genteel interlude that elevated the dish. Superman Course In a most unexpected twist, we were propelled to the very edge of the stratosphere by none other than Superman. Maybe this was the educating bit as i don’t remember superman in Gotham maybe he was? As we floated delicately amidst the stars, ethereal music and projection embraced us and our dessert of Rhubarb soufflé arrived to sweep us off our feet. The fluffy soufflé was exquisitely prepared, with rich, earthy notes of rhubarb dancing upon our palates, warming our insides with a sense of deep contentment. Digging deeper the richness and taste develop, definitely one of the best I’ve had to date in term of texture and volume. Though our ice cream arrived floating with the gentle embrace of dry ice, it seemed unimpressive with it flavour profile. It didn’t add anything to the dish and had very little taste of anything against this flavour of rhubarb. Finished.....
Ushered quickly out of the room at the end of the experience to what feels like harsh reality wake up to the serene dinning experience.
Overall would I go back??? Yes I think everyone should experience such a production of theatre and food combined they really do nail this at Park Row.
